Everett Hurt is dedicated to helping members find mortgage solutions that best fit their financial goals. With a career in the mortgage industry since 2007, Everett brings a wealth of experience in originating all types of loans, including FHA, VA, MSHDA, conventional and non-conforming mortgage products.
His background working with previous lenders has equipped him with extensive knowledge of various loan scenarios and situations. This, coupled with his personal experience as a real estate investor, allows him to empathize with borrowers and understand their experience firsthand.
“Purchasing a home can be the biggest transaction anyone can ever encounter and often times it can be intimidating,” says Everett. “What I love about my role is being able to educate the borrower so much that I can make it feel non-stressful. The excitement they have ignites me every single time.”
Everett graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts in Sciences, IT – Video Production. He is an active member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity incorporated, and he currently serves as the graduate advisor for the undergraduate chapter at MSU. His fraternity is highly active in the Lansing area, further cementing his ties to the community.
When not engaged in community events, Everett enjoys hiking, fishing and hunting in the outdoors.
