It’s been about six years since the Axis Bank Flipkart Credit Card was launched. While it was quite rewarding at the time of launch, it has undergone several rounds of devaluation over the past couple of years.
Here’s everything you ned to know about the Flipkart Credit Card in it’s current form.

The newly added Myntra category with 7.5% cashback is a great addition, and it’s worth noting that the capping is separate for each category.
While the shift to quarterly capping instead of monthly is a positive change, the overall cap is still on the lower side.
Lounge Access
Effective mid 2024, the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card no longer offers complimentary airport lounge access.
If you’re looking for a Lifetime Free Credit Card with unlimited domestic lounge access benefit, Federal Scapia Credit Card is the best one out there at the moment.
Other Benefits
- Fuel surcharge waiver: 1% Fuel Surcharge Waiver across all petrol pumps in India. Upto 400 INR per statement. (Txn size: Rs. 400 – Rs. 4,000)
- Swiggy offer: 50% instant discount on Swiggy with Code: AXISFKNEW, upto 100 INR for new users only.
- Forex markup: 3.5%+GST
Should you get it?

If your Flipkart and preferred partner spends stay within the quarterly capping, this card remains a decent option, especially with 7.5% cashback on Myntra and 5% on Cleartrip.
Since it is currently being offered as First Year Free for a limited period, there’s no harm in grabbing one while the offer lasts.
*** First Year Free Offer ends by 25th Aug ***
Bottom line
The Axis Bank Flipkart Credit Card was a solid product at launch, with lounge access as a key USP. However, that benefit was removed, and many features have been trimmed, except for the Myntra spend category.
Considering the multiple rounds of devaluation, it might make more sense for Flipkart to position this card as a Lifetime Free offering and introduce a separate premium variant with better benefits and capping, ideally bundled with Flipkart Black membership.
If you’re looking for alternatives, consider exploring credit cards like: SBI Cashback, HDFC Swiggy, SBI Phonepe Select Black, or HDFC TataNeu Infinity Credit Card if you’ve UPI spends.
